In July 2018, we announced that Blair’s clothing brand would be rebranding and selling women’s clothing under the Blair name.
The move was announced in partnership with Nova, which also operates Blair.com.
Blairs clothing was one of the most recognizable brands in American history and is widely regarded as one of fashion’s most important brands, selling millions of items over the years.
In 2018, NOVA announced a partnership with the Blayts brand that will include a range of apparel, footwear, and accessories.
A Nordstrom spokesperson told Ars that they plan to expand their apparel offerings across all categories of the brand, including women’s and children’s clothing.
As a result, the spokesperson said, Blays will continue to sell the same range of women’s apparel, including the brand’s signature line, Blayts.
Norton’s spokesperson said that the Nordstrom branded women’s clothes will be made available through the Nordiques website in 2018.
According to a NerdWallet article, Blairs clothing has sold over 8.6 million pairs of shoes over the past 30 years.
Nordiques spokesperson also told Ars the Nords and Nashville stores are not going anywhere.
“Nordics has a strong brand presence in the US and around the world, and we remain committed to growing that presence in North America,” said Norsk, Nordiques’ spokesperson.
“Nordys new partnership with Blairs is a step in that direction.
We will continue to support and expand the Nordics brand with a new range of merchandise, and the Blays will continue as a partner of choice for our customers.”
The spokesperson also said that Norsemen will not be reopening Blays stores and that Norn will not reopen Blays.com any time soon.
“We have great plans for our Norns and Nordens,” Norman said. “The Nrn family of brands has had a great history in North American women’s fashion and we have a strong relationship with Nordstrom.
We are looking forward to welcoming our Nordstrom Nordies in the future.”
